Restart was founded by Pastor Jaime Santiago along with his wife Pam, daughter Cassie, and a team of board members from the Lancaster County area. Together, this team worked to provide a safe place where men and their families could come to receive faith-based teaching, resources, and counseling to aid them in the process of overcoming their addiction(s). Restart also helps the men learn valuable life-skills, receive vocational training, connect with local churches, and transition back into the community.
"To change the lives of men with addictions and their families by introducing them to Jesus Christ as their Lord & Savior, helping them process their past trauma and presenting problems in a healthy, productive way, and become positive members of society and train them to help others."
At Restart Training Center Ministry we understand there are multiple causes when men become addicted to drugs, alcohol, pornography, gambling, etc. Some of the causes include traumatic experiences (e.g., auto accident, physical illness, sports injury, abuse, curiosity, rebellious attitude, etc.). Restart Training Center Ministry is here to help men who suffer from the life-controlling problem of addiction.
As Restart moves forward, we are committed to expanding our services through a phased approach. In Phase One, we deliver comprehensive counseling, vocational training, life-skills classes, legal support, transportation, and a six-month residential recovery program. In Phase Two, we will build a transitional housing model that provides room and board, in-house support, financial coaching, employment assistance, and a safe environment for continued growth. Our ultimate aim remains to restore men and their families through Christ, heal past wounds, foster spiritual, emotional, and relational maturity, and equip graduates to serve others.
